Good to know. I'll keep this in mind the next time we want to head out there right after a rain.

It'd never work, for the reason you're mentioning... Same for me, I can never get comfortable in the corner to let'er roll.

However...if we dug a big leech pit (as kindacreeky et.al. did on a Chain Reaction climb corner) and filled it with rock, then built the berm, it might drain!!!! Big job. Big fun.
Gary,
A lot of work is exactly what I figured!! There's currently some kind of rocks under the dirt right there and maybe a pipe going through it I think, but that wouldn't help if we just built a berm on top of it. I know that in the winter that spot already tends to be a little wetter than the areas around it. Anyway, I'm not good at designing that kinda stuff at all, but I am good with a shovel and willing to work!! Haha!!

Tight spot on Red perimeter due to tree. It's obviously been there for a while, considering the mulched up state of the tree, but it doesn't feel like it belongs there.

Trails rode very well yesterday, other than the rutted spots on the race loop that are going to be worked on this weekend. I'll try to make it out there to help.

Rode here yesterday afternoon, 8/24, with Bob and Jeff B. Got in about 17 miles and the trail was about perfect. Makes me want to go back again this week.

lost keys

Everyone,

while working out on the trails today 8-29-10, the key to the dr mower was lost. If y'all could keep an eye out for a couple of keys attached to a small orange cpr pocket mask . If found let me know.

Thanks

Eric

Just rode the trails this morning and the race loop is perfect. Thanks to all you guys that worked on the trails this weekend they are nice and smooth and ready for the race. We had one of our fastest race loops cause they were in such good condition today. I wish I could have made it to the work day Saturday but I was at the Cedars Triathlon. I'll try to make the next one. However, we did do our normal weekly maintenace today though by clearing all the spider webs on the race loop so enjoy.

I was hoping the rain on sunday didn't wash out some of the areas we did dirt work on. I'll be there this afternoon with Robert to check it out too.

Race Loop Map?

Does anyone have a map that shows all the cuts on the race loop? Just curious, as I normally miss one or more of the cuts unless the tape is up.

Thanks!

Red perimeter to back blue, hair pin left after back blue down end of expressway to green downhill extension, then cut across powerlines to yellow, climb charlottes ridge, ride out yellow all the way, then back up expressway to main st which leads you to the trail head
