Did Tim's this afternoon, nice workout. Mowed areas were really nice on the peninsula. First time at Tim's since I rode with Denny so it's been a while.

Got a ride in at Tim's today, second this week after the Maintainer and I had a workday out there Monday. The trail is in great shape;clean and dry; the water touching on one spot for a few feet; only an inch or so deep as the lake is now nine inches above summer pool; but just ride to the side a foot and you miss it. Not likely the lake will get any higher at this time. Hot, humid to say the least; ride as early as possible and carry plenty of fluids.

Lots of sticks on the trail today. I picked up until I got to the fallen tree top and turned around.

Where abouts Sarge? Chain saw or foldable? We were planning a cleanup ride tomorrow; would help to have some better info.

As far I I made it no chainsaw required. I was about 45 min in according to the way I ride, my IPOD was not acting like it should so without music and stopping every 100 ft or so picking up sticks I decided to turn around. I talked to Denny today and I think he has a general idea where. looked like the top of a tree laying accross and over the trail.

Sarge

I was around on foot all the way to DD, which is a little past where I think you turned around; the trail is great to DD; and Denny plans to check out the rest of it in the morning; Thanks for the cleaning; if I cleared the right treetop it took only a couple minutes with a foldable; In my opinion an eight inch foldable and pruners is a better investment than an odometer.

Tim's is clean and dry; grass has been trimmed; one limb across trail on peninsula needs a chainsaw; but easy enough to step across or otherwise avoid.

Denny,

Thanks for cutting the grass at Tims yesterday. I will be camping there this week and plan to hit the trail sometime while there.

In fact I rode this morning; may well be the first rider since the last lap I made a couple weeks back. Trail is overall good; a couple overgrown spots on the peninsula and some hanging briars in the fields. Just lack of riders.

I would like to give a big thanks to Bob for keeping the trail clean. I did not have to stop one time to clear the trail.

Basically the some comment could be made of my ride this morning; the trail is in really good shape even with the lack of riders; I guess the trail is a little to difficult and the difficulty increases with the hot, humid weather.

I would ride there more often, during the week if it were 40 minutes away instead of 90. It's a good trail with some good climbs. If you haven't ridden there, go ride it.

Sounds like AEDC is good to ride, think the same is true for Tim's Ford? A coworker and I are skipping out after lunch, hoping for a good ride tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks!

The Maintainer is riding Tim's right now; It was good the other day and if anything new is down, the Maintainer should clear it.
