LF 2nd for Duo

I really want to do DSG this year. None of my local friends share these feelings. Does anyone need a partner? I'm a mid-pack CAT 2 guy recently back in the south after a long stint in Utah. I'm a non-smoker, I always say "Bless You" after someone sneezes, and occasionally puts the toilet seat back down after I pee. I've heard this race is the best around. Reply to this thread or PM me if interested.

PS. I'm plan on bringing big cooler full of beer

You are probably right Chris. It will be good beer. But yes, it matters.

There was a sign up at the old Yazoo Taproom that read. Life is too short to drink cheap beer.

My motto is: "I'm easy, but I'm not cheap."

Amen. People who ride bikes drink good beer and are most times generous with it. I tell non-bikers all the time the best thing about biking is the community of folks who do it.

In my fridge currently - 4 Spaten Optimator, 3 Tommyknocker Butthead, 6 Dogfish Head 90 Minute. I'll bring everything still in the fridge Friday plus whatever else I pick-up on the way out of town. I love Yazoo beers esp. the Dos Perros. I was once in a semi-sanctioned Yazoo commercial.

What are you holding in your avatar picture? Will you be bringing that to DSG also? Hope so!

Jeff, you sure are needy! I'm glad we're not doing a team together!

That is actually a picture of my cycling coach and mentor Sir Benjamin Francis Leopold. He is also an expert in animal husbandry.

He uses that gun to motivate me during particularly difficult interval training. I doubt he will bring it to DSG, he'll probably end up bringing his big gun instead.

If nobody joins this man, then we've got problems. Likes to ride a bike, likes beer, and appears to frequent hard liquor and handgun night.

Tell ya what, just sign up solo for now and we'll get you a team later. Send me a PM if you have any questions, but the reality is that this thing is what you make of it. Race hard, or just ride and sip beer. It's all good, and all for a Good Cause!

Heck, I'll ride a lap with ya!

Thanks,

Grant, Clay and Willie
